Afternoon all, Apologies if this is a stupid question or is answered elsewhere, but I'd rather ask it now than regret not asking later when I'm paying for services I don't need / use. I have recently swapped brokers and over to Sierra from TradingView for the data access and because my broker is a supported broker (Interactive Brokers). I trade mainly 3 markets, the E-Micro S&P 500 (symbol "MES" on IB), the 10 Year Bund (FGBL on IB) and Euro Stoxx 50 (FESX on IB). I'm going to activate services for the data feed on EUREX EOBI for the Bund and Stoxx markets and believe this to be correct, but with the MES / ES symbols, can I check that it's data would be provided under "CME with Market Depth for nonprofessional Trading accounts" as I have a supported trading account with IB, as there's also a CME option for just the E-Mini. Thanks in advance for any support or guidance on this. All the best, |

You are fine with regards to the trading account, since you will be connecting to IB. So you do not need to worry about that. In terms of which exchange you want out of the CME Group of exchanges, it depends on what you want. If you really just want data for the ES with Market Depth, then you would want to activate the following exchange: - CME with Market Depth for nonprofessional Trading accounts If, on the other hand, you want data for all CME products with Market Depth, then you would want to activate the following exchange: - Full CME Group (CME, CBOT, COMEX, NYMEX) with Market Depth for nonprofessional Trading accounts And if you want to get data for all instruments traded on the CME Group, but do not need market depth for anything other than ES, then you would activate the following exchanges: - Full CME Group (CME, CBOT, COMEX, NYMEX) for nonprofessional Trading accounts - CME with Market Depth for nonprofessional Trading accounts And there are more combinations you can do depending on what you need, but you should be able to figure it out from what we have given you above. Thanks for the information on this one John. Just to follow up on that, if I were to swap brokers to AMP Futures, who I have seen provide data in partnership, can I confirm what data they actually provide and also whether I would need to also add additional data onto this for EUREX etc? Thanks |

If you use AMP they would set you up on the CQG trading platform service: CQG Trading Platform Service Sierra Chart no longer supports market data from CQG for CME Group or EUREX. Only order routing. So in that case you would need to use the Denali Data Feed for market data: Denali Exchange Data Feed Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Thanks, so I could set up the Denali Exchange feed for Eurex and CME through SC and then just use CQG through AMP for order routing? Is there any links to a support board with instructions to set up the CQG link? |
