Please kindly add Rithmic's Frankfurt Servers

Dear SC support team, I'm a subscriber of your Denali data feed; however, as you know, Rithmic order routing is required in order to trade most evaluators' accounts. After I had experienced plenty of issues with failures to connect to Rithmic (via Chicago area and also Europe gateways), I contacted Rithmic support and they strongly recommended using the Frankfurt gateway, as that had recently been upgraded. However, the Frankfurt server is not yet available in your Data/Trade Service Settings server dropdown list (neither the Paper Trading one required for the evaluations, nor the "live" one). When I informed Rithmic about that, they told me that you rely on a list published on Rithmic's webserver in order to implement new servers and that it had not been added to that list by Rithmic, yet. My contact also wrote that he'll let the engineers know, so they will add it. As that was 1 week ago, I would assume (hope) that it should be on that list by now. Would you please be so kind to add the Frankfurt servers to above-mentioned dropdown list? That would be appreciated. Thank you very much in advance for your efforts. |

As noted by Rithmic, this is not something we can do. The list of Rithmic servers comes from Rithmic. Therefore if the server you are looking for is not on the list, then it is up to Rithmic to add it.

Dear John, thank you for your response. The way I understand your reply, it sounds as if any servers added to the list published on Rithmic's webserver will then AUTOMATICALLY be added to Sierra Chart's dropdown list? Reading the e-mail I received from Rithmic support, it appeared to me that while Rithmic needs to add the Frankfurt gateway to their webserver list (as already mentioned in my initial post, I assumed that they have done that by now), SC engineers would still need to actively check that list and then manually add any new server to the Data/Trade Service Settings dropdown list. Here's what he wrote: "Sierra Charts relies on a list which we publish on our webserver. You are right, Frankfurt does not appear in the list. I will ask our Engineering team to add this." My apologies, if I misunderstood the procedure. |

You are understanding what I am stating correctly. We just pull down the list and display what is in it. Each time you select the Server List it is getting the list from Rithmic. There is nothing we can do or adjust in the list, it is an automated process for us.
