The Clear Method Swing Line formulas in spreadsheet format provided by Sierra Chart's Technical Studies Reference does not seem to be a downloadable file. If true, can this be corrected?

The file is a standard Sierra Chart spreadsheet. If you are selecting it and it is opening in your browser as gibberish, then that is because your browser is interpreting the extension as a stylesheet. To work around this, you need to right-click and select Save Line As... and then save the spreadsheet to the Data folder under your Sierra Chart installation folder. Is there a way to automate this indicator to take trades as the line changes colors?

Here's a simplified spreadsheet version: =IF(OR(D3>C5,D3>K4),D3,IF(OR(C3<D5,C3<K4),C3,K4)) where this formula is entered in cell K3. This is taken from this example: https://www.sawtoothtrade.com/free-stuff-7.html To get a signal for each direction change, use the formulas in N3/O3 to separate the up/down prices, then use the formulas in P3/Q3 for the signals. |
