I am trading an eval account using rithmic. I was using the order llocation and using three account. I could not close positions and everytime I flattened, it kept opening new positions. Two out of three have ended up being 10 contracts and still can't close them.

First thing to do is to ensure with your broker what is open and what is closed and ensure your positions are how you want them. The underlying issue is that the order fills for the accounts did not get back to the Sierra Chart system, so what is showing in Sierra Chart is not matching reality. When you are then flat, as setup through your broker, then you will want to go through and correct the missing fills to get your data in Sierra Chart matching what happened in the market. Refer to the following: Trade Activity Log: Missing Order Fills from Trade Activity Log For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

The order fills have no impact at all upon the Position reporting in Sierra Chart. You can check the positions through Trade >> Trade Positions Window: Trading Information Windows: Trade Positions Window What you see there is not affected by order fills at all in the case of Rithmic. If a position is open there, try flattening it from that window. If there are any rejections of orders, check the Trade >> Trade Service Log. You can also refresh the position list with: Trade Menu: Refresh Trade Data From Service (Trade menu) Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
