Help: Possible to Add Custom Attached Order to Chart Shortcut Menu?

Dear SC, I was hoping to be able to right-click on the chart and place a custom attached order that I had created in the Trade Window. It is a simple bracket order with a take profit and stop loss. Is this possible? I looked in the 'Customize Chart Shortcut Menu' hoping I could add my custom attached order that way, but it wasn't listed. Thank you very much! Whenever you place an order with Attached Orders, then the attached orders are going to be setup as you have them in the Trade Window at that moment in time. So if you want a Market order with the attached orders as you have them setup, then you can right click and select Buy Market, or if you want the parent to be a Stop-Limit, then right click and select Stop-Limit. Again, in each of these cases, as long as Use Attached Orders is enabled then the attached orders will be added as they are setup. Hello, thank you for your response. However, I actually do not wish to place a buy / sell order at market price. Instead, I wish to place a buy / sell limit order at the price where I click on the chart. In other words, I wish to click on the chart and place an order at that level, and wait for it to be filled. I attach some images to illustrate what I mean. Is this possible? Thanks in advance, Morgan |

On the Customize Chart Trade Menu add the options for Buy Limit and Sell Limit and then select the appropriate one for what you want to do at that time. Refer to the following: Global Settings Menu: Customize Chart Trade Menu (Global Settings menu) As noted above, the attached orders will be added automatically based on the current selection and configuration at the time the parent order is placed. Is it possible to right click on the chart and select between different custom attached orders? As opposed to having to first select the custom attached order in the trade window, and then only being able to use that default for chart orders. Thank you.

There is no built-in support for a right-click option that gives a selection for an attached order. There is not even a right-click option for selecting different Trade Configurations, which is the fastest way to change between different Attached Order Configurations (you can setup keyboard shortcuts or control bar options for these).
