Hello, I am seeing a slight delay on the tape between Sierra Chart and Jigsaw.(SC lagging) Both are using the same Rithmic Data. I have a video comparing them if that helps. I have followed the steps (30.48) to increase performance. Thanks, Josh |

You are setup to get data from our Denali Exchange Data Feed. Are you using the Denali data or the Rithmic data? The one thing to look at, if you have not already done so, is the Chart Update Interval. 500 milliseconds (.5 seconds) is the default, which could give an appearance of lagging if the other system is updating faster. Refer to the following: Chart Settings: Chart Update Interval in Milliseconds (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Display >> Chart Update Interval menu) If you are using the Rithmic data, then there is nothing we can do with regards to that data. Refer to the following: Rithmic Trading Platform Service: Rithmic Support Policy For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

The Denali data also trails. The update interval was set to 50ms. I tested this with just a single time and sales window. Also the DOM had the same delay.

I noticed this as well when looking at Bookmap within TOS which uses dxfeed. I had my chart update intervals set to 50ms... then thought maybe it was too short an interval so updated it to 100,150,250 but it is the same. It is very very slight but enough to be noticeable when there are enormous moves within a short timespan (i.e. FOMC yesterday and today's ~40pt rally on /ES around 3:50-3:51P EST). The odd thing is I only noticed it recently and the only recent update I've made is upgrading to Windows 11 as well as the latest release version of Sierra.. I am running on 3 m.2 nvme ssds, 12700K, 3080TI, 64gb ram, 1GbE fiber optic hardwired... monitoring PC usage throughout the day and SC is very light.. |
