Hi. I have 2 question: 1. I would like to see real data without delay in Sierra Chart. I have bought the standart pack 3 months. How can I see mini sp 500 and crude oil in real time? 2. Thanks. But in the 1 question, I thought Service Pack 3 included Real Data. I would use AMP FUTURES, but I throught Sierra in Pack 3 included that. And the question 2, I think I must to see Blocks (maybe delayed). I saw blocks in the trial period. If I connect AMP FUTURES broker I will see the blocks? |

The only real-time data that is included with Sierra Chart is CFD and FOREX data. All other data you either need to get from your trading service or from us. Although we recommend getting the data from us, as the historical data from other services is going to be lacking (including the data that you need to download from when you are not online). Also, if you are wanting data from the CME Group, then you need to understand that the CME Group requires that you have a live, funded futures trading account in order to get the data at the non-professional exchange rates. Therefore, you will need to connect your Sierra Chart to your trading account at least once a month to get the data at the lower rates. If you are referring to SP500, Crude Oil and Gold as the CFDs for these (i.e. SPX500, USOIL, and XAUUSD), then yes, you can get that data with Package 3. You can access delayed futures data with your Service Package. I am going to tell you step by step. 1. I bought Pack 3 of Sierra Chart. 2. I created a live account on Amp Futures and they gave me the credentials. 3. Connected with Sierra Chart with Amp Futures (I trade SP500 and Crude Oil) 4. Everything works fine for me but I notice a problem in Footprint and Cumulative Delta. It's not the same as before, it barely moves, there must be some mistake in my steps. All the best. |

What SP500 and Crude Oil are you trading? We do not believe AMP supports trading CFDs. Are these the CME Group futures you are referring to? Can you give us the specific instrument symbol?

First, make sure you understand that any historical data that is loaded will not have the Bid and Ask information. So the Numbers Bars and Cumulative Delta for that data will not show much information. For more information on this, refer to the 2nd bullet point at the following link: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/Whats_New.php#SCVer2351 But, as long as you are connected live to CQG, then you should be getting the Bid and Ask information and you should have these showing properly. The only thing we can think is that when you wrote your last post it was 16:36 Chicago time, so the trading for those instruments was stopped for the hour (between 16:00 - 17:00). Therefore, you would not have had any data updating at that time. If you continue to have an issue after the evening start at 17:00 then let us know. Thanks for your reply, but I continue with the issue. I don't know if the problem is that I paid all CME group (3$ to month) in AMP and I should pay some other pack for cummulative delta and footprint. I don't know the reason.

The $3 per month would be for the full CME Group without Market Depth. That is all you need to get the data for the Footprints (Numbers Bars) and Cumulative Delta in Sierra Chart for while you are connected live to the data. At this point, the question is whether you are getting any data into your charts? Is the price moving at this point, now that the evening session has started? Also, make sure you Session Times are setup to cover the full 24 hours of trading. We have activated the option for you to evaluate Package 12 for 30 days. It does not give you the Usage Time, it just allows you to act like you have Package 12 for the Usage Time you do have. So you can continue the way you are without having to change your package at least for 30 days.
