Hello
i am fairly new to Sierra chart, i started using SC in conjunction with Interactive brokers a couple of months ago. Recently i subscribed to Package 5 and i noticed that when i connect to SC through Interactive broker the data feed is so sluggish to the point that my numbers chart are completely useless.to mitigate this problem i subscribed to sierra chart data feed but found no help because whenever i connect the data is delayed. So finally today i subscribed to package 11 ( includes Denali Data Feed)in hopes to solve this problem. Can you guide me if i need to do any other things in order to improve this slow data feed.

I’m mainly trading NQ, MNQ, Es MES and would also like to get into currency futures in near future. Is Denali Data feed the one that comes with package 11 good enough? And also do I always have to open TWS or there’s alternative way. Thanks.

I activated CME non-proffesional top of book but still no improvements. Whenever i log in all my numbers bars-bid and ask (order flow) show zero, it only starts to fill with numbers after im logged in for a minute or so but nothing before that ( no historical numbers) I troubleshooted in all possible ways but nothing is helping.

Right now i have package 11 + sc data+ cme top of the book, is there any other things to improve the bad slow data feed i'm getting? in another word is there a way i can sign up for market data from sierra chart only while i can still be connected to interactive broker as my execution broker? If im doing any thing wrong with data subscription please let me know Im willing to deactivate every thing and start fresh if needed. Thanks.

It sounds like you are not getting the data from the Denali Exchange Data Feed for some reason. We would need to see your Message Log by following these instructions:

Follow the instructions here to clear the Message Log:
Message Log: Clearing the Message Log

Open a chart for the symbol you have an issue with. Tell us that symbol of the chart.

Disconnect from the data feed with "File >> Disconnect".

Connect to the data feed with "File >> Connect to Data Feed".

After the connection and after about 10 seconds, provide a copy of the Message Log following these instructions:

We will then determine what the problem is.

I found the solution from previous post and I finally got the problem fixed. Basically i just needed to go to File> Data/trade services setting>common setting> check "yes" Allow support for sierra chart data. Now I'm getting SC real data feed.
