I have recorded my screen to help explain what I want to ask, i have uploaded it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z7If4oaKJ7E Time 0.00s you can see i am dragging the chart in Tradingview left and right, by having mouse clicked on top of one candle. As i drag, the chart keeps the focus (the candle i clicked on stays under the mouse cursor). Time 0.11s you can see im trying to do the same on Sierra, but on time 0.16s the chart goes out of focus (candle goes away from the mouse cursor). FIRST QUESTION: how can i set the focus to stay under the mouse cursor using hand tool? I think Scale settings > Scale range > Constant range does it in a way, i get some glitches sometimes but in principle i think it may be good enough to use "Manual mode"; please let me know if there is anything else i should know Another question: Time 0.30s: in Tradingview, i hold Ctrl and zoom in horizontal axis by keeping the focus to the candle under the cursor. Time 0.40s: in Sierra, im trying to do the same but as you see chart goes out of focus again SECOND QUESTION: how can i set the focus to stay under the cursor while scaling horizontal axis? Excuse me for using a competitor for reference, im trying to move to Sierra and can't find the corresponding settings. I suspect there may be one parameter in Sierra settings which would change Sierra behaviour to answer both questions but I couldn't find it. Thank you! Date Time Of Last Edit: 2022-02-06 23:27:54

1. The hand tool does stay with the bar, it is just that the scaling is adjusting the bars based on what is displayed at that time. Automatic mode may work better for you, as the bars should not go out of view. But you will have to play with the scale settings to see what works best for the way you work with the chart. Refer to the information on this page: Chart Scale and Scale Adjusting Also note this section in particular on that page for how to have the scale locked in place: Chart Scale and Scale Adjusting: Using Fixed Values for Top and Bottom of Scale Range 2. There is no support for what you want for this. When changing the bar spacing the chart is keeping the most recent bar on the right in position and adjusting from there.
