1. The hand tool does stay with the bar, it is just that the scaling is adjusting the bars based on what is displayed at that time. Automatic mode may work better for you, as the bars should not go out of view. But you will have to play with the scale settings to see what works best for the way you work with the chart. Refer to the information on this page: Chart Scale and Scale Adjusting Also note this section in particular on that page for how to have the scale locked in place: Chart Scale and Scale Adjusting: Using Fixed Values for Top and Bottom of Scale Range 2. There is no support for what you want for this. When changing the bar spacing the chart is keeping the most recent bar on the right in position and adjusting from there.
