Sierra Chart and Transact Futures are not connecting - started a couple of days ago - sometimes it takes 10 + minutes to connect - tonight it will not connect at all

This is a Transact server issue that Sierra Chart has no control over. Also please refer to this thread: *Important* Priority Message to Transact Users Let us know if you have any further questions. To access historical and streaming market data independent from your Trading service. Follow these instructions. Set "Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Current Selected Service" to "SC Data-All Services". Press "OK" And then translate the symbols in your Chartbooks and Sierra Chart using this "Edit' menu command: Edit Menu: Edit >> Translate Symbols To Current Service (Translate Symbols to Current Service) You can then use the data provided by Sierra Chart independent of your trading service. From user: I just found out tonight that I am not the only Sierra Chart / Infinity user that has had trouble connecting. The support team at Infinity said that they have had many users experiencing the same problem. It seems that Sierra Chart receives messages that indicate that several users are not able to connect on a daily basis - Sierra Chart is able (On the Sierra Chart end) to correct the problem and the connection is then made - just as it has the past few days for "my account". Infinity support has had discussions with Sierra Chart support but the problem remains. I now know where the problem originates and I would appreciate your support to make the correction - or is "Denali" the answer ???? Sierra Chart Support |
