Follow the instructions here to clear the Message Log:
Message Log: Clearing the Message Log

Open a chart for the symbol you have an issue with. Tell us that symbol of the chart.

Disconnect from the data feed with "File >> Disconnect".

Connect to the data feed with "File >> Connect to Data Feed".

After the connection and after about 10 seconds, provide a copy of the Message Log following these instructions:

We will then determine what the problem is.

sometimes I have a problem with real time data feed (denali - CQG routing in AMP). The problem lasts from a few minutes to several hours. Sierra restarting doesn't help. The log file shows Connection limitet exceeded. I have one sierra instance and it works 24h.
How to solve this problem?

That message is definitely the reason you would not be getting data. It means that there is another system running Sierra Chart and getting data from the Denali Exchange Data Feed at the same time. Whichever system first connects is going to be the one that gets the data, and the other system will not. Refer to the information at the following link:

This problem occurs when I lose my internet connection. My router gets a new IP. Then I have no data transmission for several minutes or several hours.

This issue could not be related to the IP. That is completely impossible, as there is no involvement with that, with connection limiting.

We do see that you have more than one installation of Sierra Chart:
I have one sierra instance and it works 24h.


We see three of them. First thing we want to do is to update all three of your installed installations of Sierra Chart following the instructions here:

Regarding post #5 if you have the issue again after updating Sierra Chart, let us know and post here immediately, and request support from "Sierra Chart Engineering".

We will then look at this carefully in your case. Do not change anything you are doing on your side by restarting Sierra Chart or anything. Keep all your installations of Sierra Chart running and we will determine the cause.

Regarding post #5, we do not know why the problem has occurred, but we made one change on the server side which may prevent the issue. So hopefully it does not occur again.

Would be helpful if you let us know after two weeks if you have seen this problem.
