Hi,

I was in a combine and using the old rithmic bridge when someone told me that you know support using the Rithmic Direct DTC service if I upgrade to a newer version of SC. I updated to the latest version and changed my Data/trade service settings to the settings shown in the attached file. Now my program just says downloading historical data in some charts and other charts say Waiting to download historical data.

I have tried to disconnect and reconnect data feed. I let it run for hours. I shut down and restarted the program. All without any luck. This started yesterday, I tried to let it run overnight but it still is not working.

Please let me know what I should do to resolve this as quickly as possible because I cannot continue my combine now.

Refer to the information in the following post regarding historical data on the new Rithmic interface:

Hi,
I tried the suggestions in the post and when I changed the Max historical intradays to download to 5 for both non tick data and 1 tick data it did not work. But when I changed the intraday data storage time unit from 1 tick to 1 minute it did work.

I then tried your suggestion of going directly to a chart and selected edit - delete all data and download and now I have the same problem of it hanging. The chart is only asking for 15 days of data.

You need to use the Denali Exchange Data Feed for data.

You are on a Service Package which includes this, so the only additional thing you need to do is to activate the exchanges you require here:

I'm in a combine with uProfit and going to start one with topstep. I'm getting the data from them and they are providing the Rithmic logons for the combines. My uProfit combine was working using the Rithmic bridge but I upgraded to the newest version that is not compatible with the Old Rithmic bridge and I switched to the Rithmic direct DTC service and this is when the problem started. I had no issues while using the Rithmic bridge and I did not have to activate any exchanges for the Denali data feed.

The only data that is available through the Direct connection with Rithmic is what is outlined in our post that we directed you to originally. That includes a maximum of 5 days of data at 1 minute increments. Therefore, if you are asking for 15 days, then you will not get the data.

Note that this is what Rithmic is sending us through this interface.

You can still use the data from Rithmic with these caveats. We are just pointing out that in order to get the historical data you would need to use the Denali Exchange Data Feed.

I see, do I only need to activate the lowest level that gives access to all of CME for $3.25 but only top of book. I trade ES, NQ and CL

Yes that is correct. Let us know if you have any market data access issues now that you are using the Denali Data Feed.

Hi, So prior to paying for the exchange fees for the CME top of book, I was getting full depth of market for all my markets using the Rithmic feed provided by Topstep for my combine. When I paid for the top of book, I am now able to download the history for all my charts but I lost the depth of market for all my markets. Is there a way to get the depth of market that is provided from the Topstep Rithmic fee.

No there is not. The real-time and historical data comes from one source or the other. But you can pay for market depth data just for the individual exchange that you need and the cost is 10 USD a-month.

Since I have downloaded the data I need from Denali. Will doing the following work?

Under Data/Trade Service Setting -> Common Setting -> turn off "Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds"

And if I need to download historical data in the future turn it back on, download the data and then turn it back off.

Thanks
