Error message when charting VIX

Hi Sierra, please see attached the error message that I get when trying to chart VIX. I have Service 11 enabled and I thought charting VIX would be possible, but it seems I am missing a step?

That message is occurring because you are connect to CQG and you are not setup to get the CFE data from CQG.

We just want to make sure that you are wanting the VIX Futures and not the VIX Index. These are two different items.

If you want the VIX futures, then we recommend getting that data from our Denali Exchange Data Feed. Refer to the Setup Instructions at the following link:

Thank you John, I am needing both. I followed the instructions and I am now able to chart VIX Futures. I will work on trying to set up a chart for the VIX Index, and will report back later in the day. Thanks again for your help.

For the VIX Index, you will need to use the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed and enable the CBOE Indices exchange. You will find the Setup Instructions for this here:
