Enhance to either Pitchfork or Gann Fann drawing tools

The goal at the end of this is to have a drawing tool that displays a Dynamic Gann Fan. Basically, this is a gann fan that is drawn using 3 points instead of 2. I can provide a doc that describes this calculation. I think it would be a very easy enhancement to the existing Pitchfork tool. IT could be an additional option / checkbox to draw the dynamic gann fan. It is a Gann Fan using 3 points instead of 2. I have implemented this in TS8 and MultiCharts using mouse clicks, but it would be a much better tool if it had all of the 'additional' capabilities that are already in the Pitchfork tool. Or it could be implemented as a new tool, using the pitchfork tool and just changing the formula's to calculate the fan instead of the additional pitchfork parallel lines. For you to add this capability, it would be very minimal time, as you already have logic within Gann fan to calculate fan, and it could replace pitchfork additional lines logic. Less than 30 minutes is my estimate. If this is not something you wish to implement as part of SC base, would the code to the pitchfork tool be available for me to use as a base? I am willing to sign an DNA and then provide it back to you. If you would like, I can do one of the following, A-> not distribute it to anyone B-> only distribute it using your authorization tool C-> return the code to you to be included in User Contributed Studies Hoping you open to this possibility. To try to provide a possible implementation, instead of just a blank request, It would be to add a 2nd column of check boxes in the "Show" area of the "Levels" tab. Then add a 2nd row to the title Show Fork - Fan This would allow for each level to be used for Fork, Fan or both if desired for each level. I would prefer to have the pitchfork enhanced instead of the Gann Fan tool as it has other capabilities. Like, extend into the future a set amount. A very cool capability would to be able to extend the drawing by dragging the right side to the desired bar, vs having to guess by inputting a number. Ugh. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Please leave the implementation of the various Pitchforks the way they currently are in SC. Just my two cents... |

Due to how the Pitchfork drawing tool is implemented there is no user available source code. That is also a very complex drawing tool.
