Hello and thank you for your help. In the trading evaluator mode (real-time not delayed) I am getting the following error "symbol is unknown. Click for symbol information. Makret depth is not allowed. I have tried the fix: edit >> translate symbols to current setting but nothing changed. Could you provide me with the next steps I should do, please? Thank you, Panos |

What is the symbol for the chart for which you are getting this error?

I happens with all the symbols I have up. MESZ21, MNQZ21, RTYZ21, CLF22, RBF22, 6EZ21, ZBH22, ZNH22

Thank you, I had missed this step. I am still having the same problem although I did activate the full CME with market depth package. I tried Edit >>> translate symbols to current service, but no change after restarting. |

Yes, I am getting the same error message, only if I choose the real time trading evaluator. In the delayed trading evaluator I do not get the error. The error appears on all chart types and symbols, for example: ESZ21, NQZ21, CLF22, 6EZ21. DOM's, candlestick, tpo, etc. I tried Edit >> Translate symbols for current service and also tried restarting many times. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2021-12-06 19:18:12

Do the following to get us your Message Log: Follow the instructions here to clear the Message Log: Message Log: Clearing the Message Log Open a chart for the symbol you have an issue with. Tell us that symbol of the chart. Disconnect from the data feed with "File >> Disconnect". Connect to the data feed with "File >> Connect to Data Feed". After the connection and after about 10 seconds, provide a copy of the Message Log following these instructions: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=PostingInformation.php#MessageLog We will then determine what the problem is. There are two problem occurring. 1. The symbols are incorrect. For the Trading Evaluator service, the symbol for the Z 2021 contract of the ES would be ESZ21. Make sure you have your chartbooks open and then select Edit >> Translate Symbols to Current Service. 2. You have signed up for the Non-Professional CME exchanges, which means that you need to connect to your live, funded futures trading account at the beginning of each month to qualify for the lower-priced exchange fees. You have not connected to your trading account yet this month.
