Hi, I just switched from Rithmic to Denali. I have followed all the steps to activate the exchange and connected to SC - All services. It seems like my charts are still updating slowly and are not moving real time, it looks like the DOM updates every second. Not sure what I am doing wrong here, anyone have this issue as well?

The first thing to check is your Chart Update Interval to make sure that it did not get set to something odd. Start by checking the setting in Chart >> Chart Settings >> Advanced Settings >> Chart Update Interval. Typically this is set to zero, which means that the chart uses the global setting. If it is not 0, then either set it to 0 or to 500 (500 is a typical update interval, as that is .5 seconds). Then check Global Settings >> General Settings >> Chart Update Interval and ensure that this is set to a value of 500, or at least something appropriate if you want it to be different from the default. Also, you are posting in the evening, when trading is slow. We do not know if you were seeing this during the day session or not, but if you are only seeing it now, then wait until things start up again in the morning and see how things look. --------------------- Separately, you have us confused as to why you switched your Current Selected Service from Rithmic to SC Data - All Services. Denali is not a trading service, it is just a data feed. And you can use the Denali Exchange Data Feed with the Rithmic trading service. If you are not trading live, then this is fine, but if you are still wanting to place trades, and you have not changed your broker, then you will need to keep your Service settings with Rithmic. Hi John, thank you for your reply. I apologize for the confusion, I meant to say that I switched from Rithmic datafeed to Denali, I have CQG order routing to place trades. I have followed the steps you mentioned prior to posting my question and the DOM still appears to be updating only every second and not fluid/real time. Hoping you could help.

It doesn't look like it is really that slow in the video. But, you could set the Chart Update Interval to something lower to see if it makes a difference (and it should). Try making it 100 as a start and see if you can tell the difference. If this is a Trading DOM, then leaving the Chart Update Interval at a lower number is fine. But for a full chart with studies on it, you would have to think about the effect of having a lower chart update interval with the calculation times for the studies. Also, our servers are showing that your Service is set to SC Data - All Services. We just want to point out that this is not necessary in order to get the Denali data. You can stay connected to your Rithmic service and get the Denali data. But if you don't want to stay connected to Rithmic, then what you are doing is correct. Hi John, the DOM on the left is Sierrachart and the one on the right is Jigsaw with CQG. I've seen other peoples' data feed refresh much quicker on Sierrachart Chart DOM (example: https://youtu.be/UV8UKJoHPQg?t=401). I don't understand why I am unable to get that quick of a refreshing time, is there anything I am doing wrong?

Did you try setting the Chart Update interval to 100?
