Hi, I am currently in the final month of my most recent 12-month subscription to SC (I have been an SC user since 2013), and due to the ongoing changes in your service w/rgds to data feeds it appears that my preferred option at this point is to us SC with Denali for CME/CBOT/COMEX/NYMEX futures data for charts and trade with Rithmic either through SC or another platform using Rithmic concurrently. I am trying to understand the correct procedure to add Denali to my existing account which is package 5, so likely I need package 11, but I have some credit remaining (25 days or so) on package 5. Also, how do I avoid paying double exchange fees if possible for Denali, and if not possible, how to verify a live trading account for the Denali feed if I am trading through Rithmic on another platform? I have scoured your pages for some of these answers but my case seems a bit different to most. I suppose after reviewing a bit more, the easiest thing to do might be that you cancel the current service and credit my account the remaining leftover balance then I sign up to the SC/Denali pkg 11 and add exchanges? does that make sense? It appears as though I cannot use Denali on SC without also using a trading service, also on SC (at the same time)? Or can I simply login into that service on SC periodically to satisfy their request? I have a live/active Rithmic account but just want to use SC/Denali for charts, not trading, I wish to continue using Rithmic on another platform for trading if possible. How can I accomplish this? |

To add the Denali Exchange Data Feed to your account follow the instructions at the following link: Denali Exchange Data Feed: *Setup Instructions: CME/CBOT/NYMEX/COMEX Exchanges* Those instructions give you the information about changing your package. In terms of changing your package, you can do that at any time and we do not charge you or give you credit for differences in the package pricing. Rather, we just change your Usage End Date by adjusting it in or out depending on whether the new package is more or less expensive than the previous one. Since you are wanting to use another system to actually trade with Rithmic, you will need to have the two data feeds, the Denali Exchange Data feed for your Sierra Chart and the other for your other system. The Denali Exchange Data Feed only works with Sierra Chart. Also, since you will not be trading directly from Sierra Chart, then it is best to just connect to your live trading account about once month to verify it for the CME Group to allow you to get the data at the non-professional rate. Refer to the information here: Real-Time Exchange Data Feeds Available From Sierra Chart: Connecting Only Once a Month to Trading Account to Support CME Group Exchange Fees For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Hello. My question relates to the above but is slightly different. 1) I will use the Denali feed for real time DATA ONLY and use my current Rithmic based trading account to trade outside of Sierra. 2) However - since, I'm already paying for access to CME data via my broker and use it on ONE instance only, and since I understand the non-professional fee can be used for TWO instances concurrently - will it be possible to purchase Package 11 with Denali feed and not purchase an additional non-pro CME feed and still connect to real-time data or am I obligated to purchase an exchange package via Sierra as well? Thank you! Date Time Of Last Edit: 2022-03-28 15:04:34

You can definitely use the Rithmic data in Sierra Chart, just be aware of the limitations with it here: Rithmic Trading Platform Service: Rithmic Support Policy Also, we can not speak for Rithmic and how they handle the multiple connections. Therefore, you would need to check with them to ensure that you will be able to get data to Sierra Chart and your other system at the same time. You will need to be on Package 10 or 11 in order to connect to Rithmic. As long as you do not have any Denali exchanges activated, you will get the data from Rithmic. Hi John! Thanks for your answer, but that is not what I want. I do want to get the live data from Denali and not Rithmic, for the purposes of using SC. I just wonder If I could "share" my current CME non-pro data subscription between Denali and Rithmic, as long as I don't use more than the TWO instances allowed at once... or are TWO instances refer to the same feed only (I.e EITHER Rithmic + Rithmic 2 instances, Denali + Denali 2 instances, etc.) I guess that may be the case - which is that it is not possible - but I want to confirm if it is to consolidate costs if I can. It is not possible. We do not share that kind of information between companies, so we know nothing about the exchanges you have available with Rithmic and they know nothing about what exchanges you have with us. Therefore, when you are getting data from us, you have to pay for all the data you get from us (and vice versa). There is one caveat to this, which is called "Netting", but that is for Professional traders that are paying their fees directly to the CME Group. You can certainly use the Denali Exchange Data Feed, to multiple installed instances of Sierra Chart on the same computer. That is not a problem.: Denali Exchange Data Feed: Connections Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users.
