I am wanting to toggle on/off getting email alerts but seem to be having some difficulty. Originally I had them on and email alerts were coming through fine, but when I initially attempted to disable them (see pic 1), this did not work. Even when disabled in the plugin I'm using (see pic 2), this still didn't work. So I clicked the link in the email alert form Sierra: "To stop receiving further Alert notification messages to this email address, click the following link" (see pic 3) which has seemed to completely disabled my ability to receive email alerts. In my alerts log, I get the following message: "Alert message error: The (my email) was opted out from receiving Alert notification messages, contact Sierra Chart Support." Could I get email alerts turned back on from you guys' end so I can further investigate? Thanks! |

First, you need to verify your email address. Then you can clear the opt-out option. You can do this at the following link, which also contains information on how to take care of all of this: https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=EmailVerification In general, in order to not get the email alerts any more, you just need to clear the option from the individual alert numbers in the General Settings. Refer to the information here; https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/GeneralSettings.html#EmailNotifications The particular study you are using is not one of ours, so we can not say how it is functioning with respect to the alerts and emails. You would need to ask the maker of that study for that information.
