Hello, My Contract was rolled over yesterday and i notice there are gaps in the chat as the candlestick forms/ the candlesticks not fully forming I have tried reading the documentation on how to fix this but nothing works. I have: "updated from server" under symbol setting, "reload and recalculate," "reload intraday chart," i have even "deleted all data download" and started everything again but there are still gaps. When i log into my TD Ameritrade account the new contract shows without any gap and is accurate, however, on SC the chart looks messed up. I had this issue last time i rolled over (manually) and all i did was change the chart setting to "Continuous Future Contract, Volume based rollover, Back adjusted" & reloaded the chart and that solved everything. But this time around it isn't working. This is my 1st time being automatically rolled over i am not sure what else to do |

There is nothing wrong with your chart. This is going to occur when there is a lack of trading in the particular instrument. In this case, this is just due to people moving from the old contract to the new contract. In a day or two (probably tomorrow), the chart will look as you expect it to. We can't speak for Ameritrade and how they determine their charts, but if you take a look at the December contract chart on the CME Group's website, you will see it looks exactly as what you see within Sierra Chart. You can access the chart from this page: https://www.cmegroup.com/markets/equities/dow-jones/micro-e-mini-dow.quotes.html For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

A gap at rollover is normal if you are using a Continuous Futures Contract without Back-Adjustment. Refer to the following: Continuous Futures Contract Charts: Understanding Back Adjusted Price Data and Comparisons For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
