Dear Support, I would like to know if SC has a study which auto plots percent change from value of a horizontal line. For instance, if I draw a line with the value being 4350 on an ES chart, 2 new lines 4394(1% up) and 4307(1% down) will be automatically added on the chart. I have tried the Bands/Envelop study, but it doesn't have a custom input to enter a specific value. The only workaround I could think of is to use the Chart Calculator and enable Percent Change, but it is not really ideal. Please let me know if there are other alternatives to accomplish my request. There are a lot of ways to do this, mostly depending on what you are most comfortable with. Personally, I like to use the Spreadsheet Formula. You would need to copies of the study. In one of them you would enter the following for the formula for the upper band: =UDID[x].A1 * 1.01 Where the 'x' within the brackets is the ID of the drawing that you want to reference. Refer to the following: Study/Chart Alerts And Scanning: Reference by Anchor You could then use the Study Subgraphs Reference to create a filled area between the lines (if you want that). Another option would be to use the Spreadsheet Formula to establish a Subgraph that can be used with the Bands/Envelope study by just entering for the formula: =UDID[x].A1 For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
