Dear sir, Madam, A few days ago, I tested creation of a sound alert (time and sales price) using "highlight & alert" in time & sales setting window. The test was OK but after cancellation of this test sound alert using "highlight & alert" in time & sales setting window the alert sound still works and after a lot of research, I did't was in a position to cancel this sound alert. Would you please help me to cancel this alert. It's the only alert I tested and used. Kind regards. Maurice |

The first thing is to check the settings from the Time and Sales window (go to File >> Open Time and Sales Window and then select Settings >> Settings Window). Then ensure that all the settings for the Alert are turned off. The main thing is that the By Field is set to None, but it doesn't hurt to set it temporarily to one of the other options and then set the Bid Trade Alert and Ask Trade Alert both to No Alert Sound, then set the By Field back to None. After that, if you get the alert again, then open the Alert Window and see what it tells you about where the alert is coming from. It would have to be coming from some other place.
