Hi Some time ago I subscribed to Denali + SC Order Routing Service; later I had to switch back to CQG due to problems on the AMP+TT side. Now I have a second PC with SC installed and have discovered that CQG does not allow more than 1 connection at a time. What shall I do to be able to connect both SC instances? Should I drop CQG and choose SC Service? In this case, are there extra costs (besides the second exchange fee I am already paying)? Would it be a change that involves me and you only or should I work it out through AMP? In case, what settings do I have to change in SC ? Thanks |

Using the Sierra Chart Order Routing Service would alleviate your issue, but it would require that you change brokers, since AMP is no longer supporting the service. Refer to the information for the Sierra Chart Order Routing Service here: Sierra Chart / Trading Technologies Futures Order Routing Service Although, you may want to wait until we get our Direct CME Order Routing finished, but this is probably another month or 2 away. For status of this project, refer to this post: Now Released: Upcoming CME Direct Routing In either case, there will not be additional fees, but there will be a change in where the Order Routing Fees are paid, as they would come to us rather than through your broker. After exchanging emails with AMP it seems that the solution would be to enable a second CQG user attached to my AMP account; As I stated above I am already paying SC for the extra Exchange fee; I would like you to confirm that such setup will work: Sierra Chart (Service Package 11) running at the same time on two separate PCs with Denali feeding CME data to both instances; Service settings of PC n.1 = the CQG username + password I already have and have been using so far Service settings of PC n.2 = the new CQG username + password (and I believe I can run this second PC regardless of whether PC n.1 is or isn't running, right?) |
