Hi there, before I subscribe I have a question: I need an alert service sending email when a renko bar has changed color. I want the renko to be formed as based on the ATR. Is Sierra able to provide such a service? Sebastian |

Refer to the following for the Renko Bars in Sierra Chart: Renko Bar Charts And refer to the following for how to create alerts: Study/Chart Alerts And Scanning You would need to make 2 alerts for what you are wanting to check. One that checks for going from an Up to a Down bar, so you would check if the previous bar's Open is less than the close and if the current bar's Open is greater than the Close, and the opposite for a Down to an Up bar. You would probably only want to test when the bar is actually closed and not during development, as the state can change back and forth.
