Hello, Looking to do the following and was wondering if you could help me out. I am trying to use the Color Background Alert Condition on my charts. Here is what I want to do: - Based on the RSI 1/ If RSI value/line is ABOVE lower line (I use 40), AND, the 8 Moving Average is ABOVE the 13 Moving Average (on my same chart), then I want to color the background of the chart that meets that value green 2/ If RSI value/line is BELOW the upper line (I use 65), AND, the 8 Moving Average is BELOW the 13 Moving Average, then I want to color the background a different color Been trying to figure this out but unable to. Let me know if you are able to help. Thanks, Brian |

To begin with, you need to add the Color Background Based on Alert Condition twice. Once for the one color and then another time for the other color. In terms of the Alert formula you would use, they would look like the following: 1/ =AND(ID1.SG1 > 40, ID2.SG1 > ID3.SG1) 2/ =AND(ID1.SG1 < 65, ID2.SG1 < ID3.SG1) Where ID1.SG1 is the RSI subgraph, ID2.SG1 is the 8 moving average subgraph and ID3.SG1 is the 13 moving average subgraph.
