still can't get data to update

I spent the $36 hoping that would start the data flowing, which apparently isn't the case.

You can either refund my $36 or give it to charity, this isn't worth the hassle of my having spent several hours trying to figure out your documentation.....

It explains why I see so many comments about how difficult it is to get your system up & running, and why people are making money helping others install & setup SierraChart. Which is too bad because from what I was able to see looking at only historical data, you have a nice software package.

Your statements, are completely out of line.

The documentation is very clear. Nowhere does it say anything about real time US equities data included with the Service Packages and the exchanges simply do not allow that without additional fees and the completion of lengthy agreements and questionnaires.

It is very clearly explained that real-time equities/stock data is extra.

Exchanges tightly control data, and there is complexity with this. You should see the complexity of the agreements from NYSE and NASDAQ. You have only just begun to begin the process of real-time equities data.

And they are very strict with enforcement and impose penalties for noncompliance.

Your statements are *completely* meaningless to us. And we mean that. Completely meaningless. If you think you are trying to convince us of anything, you have failed completely. All you are doing is complaining about you failing to read, what is very clear, coming to your own conclusions, without any basis, and complaining about the complexities of exchange data.

You are welcome to repost our comments on other forums. We will actually repost to the support board.

We have offered our help to get you set up with US equities data mainly because of the complexity with agreements.

Now one thing we are going to be doing is is offering a new feed from NASDAQ which will be included with packages 10, 11, 12 but you still have to pay the exchange fees. And there still would be documentation to complete. The data is not going to be automatically real-time although it will be automatically delayed until you pay exchange fees and complete agreements.

And this is flatly untrue:

You are only putting yourself down with nonsense statements like you are making.

So unless you just simply do not want our help with setting up the US equities data feed, we will just issue a refund. minus the standard service fee.

One other thing we would say, and that it is comments like this, which motivates us very strongly to phase services out of Sierra Chart.

We have no reason to continue with Gain Capital, CTS, or Transact. These are going to be removed by the end of the year.

And we have no reason to be continuing support for CME data through CQG. This will be removed around the third quarter of 2021 at the latest. CME and EUREX data will need to come from the Denali data feed. Having one choice, and having everything as orderly as possible is going to be simplest for users.
