hello, i recently did the transition from amp to sierra for the billing and activated the denali feed i was currently using the data feed from my brokers but now i wanna activate through you guys which i think i already activate just have to pay i think also what do i need to change with the data/trade service setting please get back to me asap i really need help. my account number is #137381

Yes you do have the Denali Exchange Data Feed activated on your Sierra Chart account. You can use either SC Data-All Services and then connect once a month to CQG or just stay on CQG. You can get your data from CQG or from us using the Denali Exchange Data Feed for CME Group data. It is your choice. We recommend using our data, as it has much more history available and is a very high quality data feed. But again, the choice is yours. If you get data from us (Sierra Chart), then you can continue to use CQG for trading. There is no issue with this. You would just need to let AMP know that you do not want the data from CQG. In terms of setup, you would follow these instructions to connect your Sierra Chart to CQG: CQG Trading Platform Service: Setup Instructions Then, if you are getting data from us (Sierra Chart), follow these instructions: Real-Time Exchange Data Feeds Available From Sierra Chart: Integration with Trading Services Then finally, open your Chartbooks and select Edit >> Translate Symbols to Current Service to change your symbols to CQG symbols. You do not need to change your service after this. Just leave it connected to CQG. Your Denali Exchange Data Feed is active on our end, and the [M] symbol tells you that you are getting the data from the Denali Exchange Data Feed on your end.

okay but im still confuse about cme data does it comes with denali data or i have to activate separate if that so is it already activated through you guys or i have to sign up if that so how do i and last confusion is about the data feed setting i have amp brokers and if i wanna trade from this account and suppose i cancel my data feed from amp and get through you guys what setting do i use there sine i already checked sc all data setting and it put me in sim account when i place a trade please help

You are already signed up for the Denali Exchange Data Feed with the CME with Market Depth for NonProfessional Accounts exchange active. You have confirmed that you are receiving data from the Denali Exchange Data Feed when you stated that you are seeing the [M] after the symbol in your Chart Header. last confusion is about the data feed setting i have amp brokers and if i wanna trade from this account and suppose i cancel my data feed from amp and get through you guys what setting do i use there sine i already checked sc all data setting and it put me in sim account when i place a trade please help
To be able to trade from this account you need to be connected to your CQG account. To do this, you follow these instructions: CQG Trading Platform Service: Setup Instructions You can be connected to CQG and get data from the Denali Exchange Data Feed. This is not a problem. Since you are already setup to get the data from the Denali Exchange Data Feed, you should tell AMP that you do not want the data from CQG. also my orderbook is not showing 1400 levels of depth for bid and ask is there any way to activate that
First, what symbol are you trying to see the Market Depth data for? You are only signed up for the CME exchange for the market depth, so if it is a symbol that is not traded on the CME exchange, then that is the issue. Otherwise, work through the items at this link to determine the issue: File Menu: Not Receiving the Full Number of Market Depth Levels is that $46 included denali data feed or it's extra charge and another $10 for cme?
The $46.00 is for your Service Package, which is Package 11, the Advanced Package + the Denali Exchange Data Feed Fee. There is then the extra exchange fees, which are $10.40 in your case for the CME With Market Depth exchange that you have activated. I have the exact same issue, have SC pkg 11, put in a request with AMP to set me for CQG no data trade routing only and nothing happened so I called in after a few hours and they told me there was nothing they could do. If I want to place a trade I have to log in to CQG WebAPI. Told him there is a trade route only selection on the AMP setup site but he said the only way is what he told me. Anything like that had to be done by SC. Sigh. Thought about opening a ticket but might just work with what I have till the new things come online and the dust settles. |

Stick with it, SC is the most powerful platform out there and worth the effort to learn. Lots of layers on that onion for sure but it's powerful. See what they can do with this I am sure between AMP and SC it will work out. And they are working on new things that will be even better, you can read the stickies about all that. |
