cant connect to fxcm data feed. I can on another charting package - same computer, which makes me think its settings. help please. Are you connected to the same FXCM username from Sierra Chart or another program, at the same time you are trying to connect? If so, this is most likely the reason why the connection is not working. Only one connection is allowed at a time. Although you should not have a problem using the FXCM Trading Station at the same time. The first thing you need to do is try disconnecting all of the programs using the same FXCM username and see if you can connect. nope, not connected to same FXCM username as sierra chart on the other program. Tried closing down the other program completely, but still cant connect on sierra. Tried also leaving password and account details blank but still cant connect. I use sierra in the office and also at home, the office connection seemed fine earlier today, Does Sierra track IP addresses? Both are not logged in at the same time though.

Did you specify all of the Connection Details? All of those boxes need to be filled in. API@FXCM.com can help you with the specific details to enter if you are not sure of some of them.
