We are no longer as of December 28, 2020 providing the Sierra Chart provided historical data service for CQG or Interactive Brokers users. For more information, refer to this Support Board thread: Jan 1, 2021 Changes to Historical Data: Interactive Brokers, CQG Also refer to this post for steps that you need to do now: Jan 1, 2021 Changes to Historical Data: Interactive Brokers, CQG | Post: 245144 The solution to this problem is to use the Denali Exchange Data Feed for CME and EUREX (Upcoming in January 2021) data. Step-by-step instructions are here: Denali Exchange Data Feed: *Setup Instructions: CME/CBOT/NYMEX/COMEX Exchanges* The first calendar month of this data feed is free. Let us know if you need help with the set up and we will help you through all of the steps. In the case of CQG you will then need to contact your broker and cancel CME and EUREX exchange fees through your CQG account so you do not pay exchange fees twice. You definitively do not have to pay any market data exchange fees through your brokerage account to CQG. This is not required. For other exchanges (ICE, HKFE) you need to use the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed: Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed As an alternative to CQG, we recommend using the Sierra Chart Order Routing Service: Sierra Chart / Trading Technologies Futures Order Routing Service In regards to using CQG provided historical data, we definitely do not recommend using that. It has an additional cost of 25 USD per month. The data delivery is slow and inefficient and causes Sierra Chart to freeze during the processing of it. Only 5 days of tick data is supported from CQG. And only current futures contracts are provided. Whereas with Sierra Chart provided data feeds, you will have access to 10+ years of reliable high-speed delivered tick by tick data. Once again we do not advise using CQG historical data and it will not work well with Sierra Chart. And we also provide no technical help or support for any CQG provided historical data or real-time data. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Hi, Even when I try to load a historical chart by using SC Data Delay, I could only go back Feb 01, 2021. Thank you for looking into it. |

Hi, I read this thread and wondering if my account is restricted All Charts load only 3 days To clarify the above post, I tried to use SC Delay Data service to download historical data for NASDAQ stocks such as AMZN, TSLA but only get data 5 days back. From chart setting, date range From - To, it always changed to 5 days from today after I click Apply, no matter how many time I changed the date. Thank you for your help. |

The account in that thread is expired. The account from which you have posted here is not restricted. They are two different accounts. When you say that you were trying to get the data from the Sierra Chart Historical Data Service, did you switch your "Service" setting on the Data/Trade Service Settings window to "SC Data - All Services" in order to ensure that you were not getting the data from IB? Refer to the following for the Service setting: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/DataSourceSettings.php#Service And refer to the following for the Historical Data Service to make sure that you had this setup properly: Sierra Chart Historical Data Service For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Hello again, I've just checked. The issue only happens when I use TPO chart, not with bar chart. When using TPO chart with stocks, data only goes back to the last 5 days. When using TPO chart with futures like ES and ZB, data goes back from Aug 6, 2020 |

The TPO chart is going to use whatever data is in the chart. So first, make sure you have data going back as far as you need (when connected to SC Data - All Services) in the chart. If everything is good there, then add the TPO study. It should give you the TPOs covering the period of the data in the chart.

Thank you. The issue came from the global data setting, there were only 7 days selected for intraday chart. I adjusted the number of days and it fixed the isse. You can close the ticket. Thanks!
