Dear Support,

I am updating my previously created chartbooks for the newer SC versions (currently running 2192).

Please see the attached chart screenshot:

http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1605719049382.png

Originally it used a left side values scale (created with 2065), but in the 2192 version the left side scale is somehow 'cropped'
I use the Chart Settings -> Advanced Settings -> Use Left Side Scale (ON) & Hide Values Scale (ON) functions to display Value Scale on the Left _only_.

Can you please let me know how can I fix it and display the complete Value Scale on the left?
Thank you.

Please attach the chartbook with just that one chart in it per these instructions:

Please see it attached.
I found that when removing the Market Depth Historical Graph study (or just hiding it), the left side values scale becomes fully visible.

We are looking into this, but we are not sure exactly what is happening yet.

ticinotrader - in your particular case, the problem is that the Right Side Scale is set to "Constant Range". If you go to Chart >> Scale and select Automatic, the left side scale will show properly.

There are still some things we want to look into related to this, but that is the particular cause of what you are seeing. It is also something for us to look into as why that would have this impact.

Thank you for the feedback and pointing me to this setting.

I am using Constant range as a result of the Scale -> Autoscale the Chart DOM function - to display the Chart DOM properly.

If I autoscale the chart, based on the DOM, then hiding the right side scale, the left scale will be cropped again.
I just would like to maintain a properly (auto) scaled chart DOM and display the scale on the left.
Any recommendations would be highly appreciated.

PS: I have just found that the left scale does not have the same right-click menu, that is available on the normal scale (the click/drag scaling options do not work either). Would it be possible to enable it? Could be especially useful when the left scale is the only displayed scale.

Thank you in advance.

We are looking into a change that will fix this. It's just that the way it is working is how it has been for a long time and we want to make sure that it will not impact other users that have gotten used to it in a certain way.

We have made a change to how the Left Side Scale determines which study it will be based on, and removed a dependency on how the right side scale was set. This will resolve the particular issue you were having.

This change is available in the current release - 2200.
