The docs (Pivot Points: Formula Type 5 (Camarilla Pivot Points)) shows numerous pivot levels based on the Camarilla calculations. When I place the study on the chart, however, it only shows R1/2/3 and S1/2/3. How do I get this to display all of the levels described in the documentation? try: In the study settings (Pivot points daily study settings) -> Subgraphs tab -> change the Drawstyle for each desired level from Hidden to Dash btw You change the formula on the previous table "Settings and Input" in the first line by including the formula number from the documentation |

One more thing. The values are supposed to be calculated from the prior day H/L/C. When I place them on a daily chart of the DAX, the levels keep moving with every tick by a small amount. These are supposed to be fixed in one spot as far as I know. Why are they moving? Thanks |

If today's range is used in the formula multiplied by some constant and only shifted by yesterday's Close, then I assume that it will constantly change by small movements. Do you use the type 5 which you ask above? |

Yes, I use type 5. And the correct way to calculate Cam levels is to use the PRIOR DAY H/L/C which are not going to change without a time machine.

Which Pivot Point study are you using? Also, what is the setting for Chart >> Chart Settings >> Chart Data Type set to for the DAX chart where you see the pivots changing? Also, how are the pivots moving? What are you seeing? For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Yes you are right, I did not look at the formula in the source code as it is directly defined. |

1. I am using the Pivot Points - Daily study. 2. Chart Data Type == Historical 3. The levels move around with each tick. |

Please attach a Chartbook with that chart in it to this thread using these instructions: Support Board Posting Information: Providing Chartbook with Only a Single Chart For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

From what we see, we are assuming that the data that you are seeing changing is the Forward Projected data and not the data that is displayed on today's bar. This is because the data in the Forward Projection area is basing the Pivot Point calculations on today's bar, which is constantly changing. So you are really seeing tomorrow's pivot points updating as today goes along. We will check on how we are going to deal with this. In the meantime, a work around is to use the Study Subgraph Reference study (one for each Pivot Point line you want to see) and set the Draw Style to Line at Last Bar to Edge. Refer to the information here: Study Subgraph Reference And refer to the information here for the Draw Style: Chart Studies: Subgraphs Tab >> Draw Style For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
