Hello, I have not been able to configure the Study Angle study. Its description says "This study calculates and displays the angle of a line (Subgraph) from another study on the chart.". However, it allows to select a main study in the "Based on" field and then select a sub-graph from "Input Data". Let's say If I have a MACD study with its two subgraphs SG1 and SG1, then how can I calculate a display the angle between the two subgraphs of the same study (in this case MACD)? Does Value Per Point has any role in this configuration? I think it is more to adjust the display on monitors? Regards, |

Sorry, the description in our documentation is incorrect. We will get that updated. In the meantime, the way the Study Angle works is that it uses the data as defined in the Input Data and uses two points of that study subgraph to determine the angle. The two points are defined by the Length Input, where the angle is determined by the straight line that is formed from the current bar's value and the value of the bar [Length Value] prior. The angle is then determined relative to a flat line (x-axis = 0 degrees). Thank you for the quick response... So there is no way to obtain the angle between two sub-graphs of a study (or two different studies)? Let's say I have an MACD study with two sub-graphs SG1 and SG2 and want to calculate/display the angle between them? Regards, |
