I enabled the customize keyboard shortcut "Move to Break Even" using F2 under Global Settings -> Customize Keyboard Shortcuts. The F2 works fine in a replay and in Sim trading but it does not work in a live account. Any ideas?

This is going to be an issue related to the Status field for orders when using Interactive Brokers. This should now be resolved. Update Sierra Chart to the latest prerelease which is 2098. Instructions:

2098 is still a prelease? Do you recommend that? or wait until it is in release status?

I upgraded to 2098 and executed 2 live trades this morning on NQ and the F2 (Move to Break Even) keyboard shortcut did not work

We did look into this, but testing on the Interactive Brokers demo system is really a big mess. Completely erratic like behavior.

We think the problem relates to the order Status and we cannot reproduce it. What is the Status of the Stop order when it does not move to breakeven?

I use Attached Orders with a 10 tick stop. When I pressed the Break-Even (F2) or BE button, it does NOT move the 10 tick stop. How do you want me to check the status of the stop order?

The Status of the order is shown in the Trade >> Trade Orders Window.

It is also shown on the chart with the order line but maybe you have disabled that.

I can provide the status of the stop order on my next live trade. How can I enable the stop order status on the chart?

What would the status info give you? Am I the only one having this issue?

If the status is Open, then we do not know what the problem is. There are no problems with moving a stop to Breakeven with other supported Trading services.

All technical support for Interactive Brokers has been discontinued. We cannot provide further help here.

I am currently using the Sierra Chart Denali service connecting to Interactive Brokers. Any additional troubleshooting that you can suggest?

Also, would like to mention that I setup "F3" to "Flatten and Cancel" and this seems to work fine but F2 is set to "Move to Break Even" does not work in a live account but does work in Replay and Sim trading. Any ideas why this is not working in a live trading account?

Do you notice a problem when you use the Breakeven (BE) button directly? Instead of a keyboard shortcut.

Providing the tradeactivitylog from May 19, 2020. Took a long position on NQ on May 19, 2020 at 9:40:48 EST. I tried moving stop loss to break-even by pressing F2 and did not work. Closed trade at 9:40:53 AM EST.

I have also attached the Trade Activity Log for May 19 (I only had 1 trade that date) and see multiple InternalOrdersID at 9:40:48 AM EST.

We are checking on this now. We apologize for the long delay. We really are very busy. This is more challenging when it involves Interactive Brokers.

The problem is that Interactive Brokers does not give clear and reliable order status codes and updates. The problem is they are not updating the Stop attached order indicating that it is open. The last status they gave is PreSubmitted

We do not want to start doing hacks to solve these problems. We have been clearing out the Interactive Brokers hacks that we have put in over the years.

So we are not offering a solution to this at this time when using interactive brokers.

You will have far more stable trading with this service:

Sierra Chart / Trading Technologies Futures Order Routing Service

We have discontinued, technical support for Interactive Brokers. This is an Interactive Brokers specific issue. One thing you can do is disable the use of server-side bracket orders with Interactive Brokers. That will solve the problem for the time being. Here is the option:
Global Trade Settings Windows: Use Server Side Bracket Orders (if supported) (Global Settings >> General Trade Settings >> General)

You can use server-side bracket orders with the Sierra Chart order routing service (link above) for safe management of orders.
