due to the Downloading of Data on startup. I should have all the data on my SSD. Because i have the PC running 24/7 i cant say when this problem started. But its clearly there since i rebooted the PC yesterday.

Is this expected to be the new normal behavior?

With the forced update to 2083 its still not better. The restart of SC with all instances takes now almost 25!!!
minutes
compared to a maybe 2 minutes restart a week ago. Some charts even then still need a manual "delete and download" operation because the data shown is wrong. (Gold and NatGas)

Something is off BIG times.

Refer to:
High CPU Usage | Inactive User Interface | Poor Performance | Long Time to Load Chart Data | Charts Reloading Often: 30.48 - Basic Steps to Resolve Performance Issue in Sierra Chart (30.48 - Basic Steps to Resolve Performance Issue in Sierra Chart)

This sounds like a computer system issue in your case.

Some charts even then still need a manual "delete and download" operation because the data shown is wrong. (Gold and NatGas)
This makes no sense at all why there would be a problem with the stored historical data. Wrong in what way?

1. I dont think any Hardware is malfunctioning just because i rebooted my system. The odds for that are very small. I updated to 2079, then i had to update to 2083.

2. Wrong in the way that the price bars show wrong highs and lows in the yearly...after all charts are loaded i have to delete and reload 1 or 2 contracts.

3. I use already 3 additional instances, now i make a 4th one so the main instance has no charting at all.
I also reduced the number of days to load. I dont think the additional instance will help. My problems started with the update(i have no other clue because i didnt change anything else, it was just the regular weekly reboot).

When i am ready, i will restart SC and make a sreenshot for the chart in question.

I now have 4 additional sub instances, i also reduced days to load on my charts. Its still not near were it was regarding loading speed but its better now. Because i only reboot on the week end, its fine.

What i dont understand: Why are charts waiting for downloading data if the data gets stored on my SSD?
This waiting for historical data to download is in my opinion the cause of the slowdown.
Historical data shouldnt be a problem at all.

If the problem is relating to unnecessary historical data downloading, we will look into this. We want to do some testing on our side first.

We understood the problem to be different at first.

Natural Gas Monthly Chart in FRESH Restarted SC after PC reboot.

I noticed that i just need to reload the Chart. Deleting and Downloading Data seems not necessary (big difference, i know). The weekly Historical chart was fine...just Monthly to Yearly.

While in one instance NatGas was fully loaded and displayed wrongly. Another instance still "seems" to download data for the same contracts. None of which is the main instance and both instances had all the data before the restart.

Loading times in Historical Charts are unusually long.
Maybe this info helps, maybe not.

We looked into this, and another user reported an issue like this but this is not anything new. There is a problem where the Historical Daily data files for continuous futures contract charts are being updated from the remote server in the main instance of Sierra Chart, when the continuous futures contract option is being used in a sub instance.

We have now fixed this issue in prerelease version 2086. Update to that version.

However, you are also showing some invalid price data in the screenshots. You need to re-download the data for the continuous futures contract in the main instance, not a sub instance, to clear that issue. Instructions:
