SC is crashing every time I open the "Trade Orders Window" and then click on "Attach/Detach Window". I am on windows 10, 64 bit and tried the Current and the PreRelease version. Thank you. |

More Windows 10 problems. We want you to enable this option: General Settings Window: Save Message Log to File (Global Settings >> General Settings >> Log >> Log) When you have the problem, we need to get the most recent Message Log file which will be in the Logs subfolder in the Sierra Chart installation folder. Attach that file here. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. Try to keep your questions brief and to the point. We really do not have any answer for this now. We do think this problem is happening at the operating system level. The Message Log does not provide us any helpful information.

One thing that we thought of, is are you using the OpenGL option in Sierra Chart? This is an Global Settings >> Graphics Settings >> Other. Let us know. We need to know if the problem is related to that. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. I don't know who Matt is but the option "Use OpenGL for Chart Graphics" is not activated. New development after updating to 2036: Attach/Detach will not crash SC, but "Trade Positions" and "Account Balances" are populated when I open this two windows. Attach/Detach will delete the numbers of "Account Balances" (always). Re-Opening the window will not, a restart of SC will bring the numbers back. The same thing happens with the window "Trade Positions" but only then, when I Attach/Detach it first. If I Attach/Detach "Trade Positions" after I Attach/Detach "Account Balances", the numbers will stay. Actually I tested it now several times in different orders and I lost track because it is different when both windows are open already with the start of SC. So the conclusion is that the window "Account Balances" will always lose its numbers when "Attach/Detach" and the window "Trade Positions" will lose its numbers only sometimes. Messagelogs of two different situations are attached. |

Disregard Matt. That was a dictation error. We meant "that". Have you applied all of the Windows 10 updates? It is very disappointing that Windows 10 has this kind of problem. We are unable to reproduce this on Windows 10 ourselves. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. Actually we are able to reproduce this: "Trade Positions" and "Account Balances" are populated when I open this two windows. We are looking into this.

I want to confirm that with PreRelease Version: 2038 (January 22, 2020) the problem was solved and everything works as it should.
