Hello!

I'm using two monitors to display multiple DOM windows in two chartbooks across 2 SC instances. I need to re-center all my DOM windows at the same time with a keyboard shortcut. How can I do this?

Thanks

Global Settings| Customize Keyboard Shortcuts

Commands:
+Trade
Re-center Trade DOM Scales

Choose your desired shortcut and click Assign, then OK.

The detail in your question was "using two chartbooks". I assume these will be in sub instances and therefore this one keybinding may not re-center both.

The solution I use is to have all my DOMs in a single chartbook, each detached, and managed using the Igynition Window Manager (WiLMA) by Stephen Didak (he has made this available for free*). You can use other tools/scripting languages which can control window position including AutoHotKey.

I'm not sure if its supported to re-center DOMs across multiple instances/chartbooks and it would probably be a difficult feature to add.

Thanks!

I have also come to the conclusion that the only solution is to have just one chartbook with some or all dom windows detached. Because I think on a system level it is difficult to control inactive windows, and SC probably doesn't support it.

After using multiple DOM windows for some time I'm now seeing a new problem. It is evident that some contracts don't center properly with dom recenter. Ie, the line is going up or down. Pretty annoying. I have started anotger support thread about that recently, but no luck so far.

What management/functions do you use this program for/what does it do for you?

It can save/store a window layout and control X,Y position, width+height, minimised or restored status, front/back or always on top, etc.
So I can manually enter what coordinates I want a dozen DOM windows to have and it will automatically arrange them.
The link I provided gives details.
