Hello, this happens to me the second time - UI size becomes bigger than before (buttons and window borders become wider).
I'm not sure what switches it. I tried to reduce font size, but it doesn't help much.

In the screenshot you can see there are 12 windows (4 columns and 3 rows) that I could see before all at once, but now I can only partially see 6 of them (2.5 columns and 2 rows).

Windows settings haven't changes - screen resolution and UI Size stay the same. I can readjust windows to see all of them again, but window borders are abnormally wide, they hold much screen space.

How can I adjust the UI Size on the Sierra Chat side?

The size of window borders can only be controlled through the operating system settings.

To control the size of control bar buttons, refer to:
Control Bar: Control Bar Buttons Size and Text Size

Thank you, but Windows settings don't help. "Scale and layout/Size of text, apps, and other items" is at minimal 100% (as it was before). And I don't see any other settings in Windows 10.
I also tried to adjust DPI settings with Regedit with no success (Sierra Chart UI scale stays similarly big in screen space with different DPI).

Could you advise how else I can fix that?

I am having the same issue after updating to newest version of SC - bars are much wider and taller than before the update. Text size does not seem to have changed dramatically, so the bars and screen is filled with much empty space.

All setting in Windows 10 were exactly the same before and after installing the new version of SC.

It sounds like you just need to adjust your scales to get things how you want them again. Refer to the following and the section after it:

Thanks for the quick reply John. Unfortunately hovering over the borders of the areas in question does not allow for adjustment. Attached is an image showing the areas: the control bar; the chart values window; the area showing chartbook name; the area showing individual chart names within the chartbook. Thanks.

Can you attach that chartbook to this thread for us to take a look at it? Follow these instructions:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=PostingInformation.php#AttachFile

Also attach your Sierra4.config file, which is in your main Sierra Chart installation folder (typically C:\SierraChart).

Set this setting to 1:
General Settings Window: Small Pixel Amount Scaling Factor (Global Settings >> General Settings >> GUI >> Application GUI)

Yours is set to 20. That is much too large.

Thanks - that solved the issue.

In the interest of saving time by avoiding similar issues: any idea how this setting would have come into play by installing the newest version of SC? The old version looked and ran fine and I made no changes to any settings between installation and opening a chartbook. Reverting to the previous version didn't help once the problem cropped up.

The only way we would know it would have been set so high was if you manually changed it.

Strange - didn't make any changes to any settings between installing the new version and pulling up an existing chartbook. In any case, all back to normal - thanks.
