Hello SC, I'm having issue with Futures ICE symbols settings configuration from Rithmic data feed. It look like Sierra chart is requesting incorrect symbol name format using * instead of ! For example: while opening intraday chart for DX FMZ0019!-NYBOT, Sierra shows DX FMZ0019*-NYBOT in the chart window name. Symbol configuration seems to be correct. Please advise. |

The correct symbols are listed in File >> Find Symbol. You need to open a chart through that method when there are characters which conflict with filename characters.

That is exactly the method I use to open these charts. So the problem is elsewhere. Thanks. |

So I created a duplicate configuration for DX FM?00##!-NYBOT symbol replacing ! with * and was able to bypass "settings not found" error. However the chart is not updating the data. I think it has to do with Rollover and request still goes to incorrect filename. Anyway this seems like a bug in SC software as it shouldn't replace ! with * characters. |

We are looking into this. There is a translation of characters for characters which are not valid as part of the filename when converting between the symbol and the file name or the other way around but this this should not be happening when opening a chart through the Find Symbol window.
