Take a look at the following 2 studies and see if they are what you are looking for, as these are based on Tom DeMark's work: DeMarker Oscillator Type I DeMarker Oscillator Type II For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

No, those do not appear to be it. A DeMark 9-Count Setup consists of the following: _A series of nine consecutive bars that close higher or lower than the close 4 bars earlier. _9 consecutive closes “higher” than the close 4 bars prior is a “sell setup” and 9 consecutive closes “lower” than the close 4 bars prior is a “buy setup.” _Numbers 1 through 9 are placed above each qualifying bar's highs, or below each qualifying bar's lows. Perfected setups _A “sell setup” is “perfected” when the the high of bars 6 and 7 in the count are exceeded by the high of bars 8 or 9, reverse = “buy setup”. https://www.seeitmarket.com/understanding-the-basics-of-demark-setups/ Understanding the Basics of DeMark Setups https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h5PuTzDimNA Tom DeMark: Trading the Nines Date Time Of Last Edit: 2019-09-17 16:35:27

Hello, I am in the process of adding all of the DeMark indicators since they are so frequently asked for. I am working from his two books New Market Timing Techniques and The New Science of Technical Analysis. I believe that this is close to what he calls "TD Sequential", which I have not yet worked on. I will have to carefully check to be sure. Also in the video that you posted he mentions that he is discussing something that is not in the book, so I will need to study what he is saying here so that I can integrate the new information with what is in the book.

Mr DeMark also gave his blessing to another book: DeMark Indicators ISBN: 9781576603147 If it that is the one by Jason Perl with foreword written by DeMark, then I have that one too. I have a detailed explanation about most of the DeMark Indicators. Would you like me to send you the information? Sure, thanks! |

If the parameters listed below are not in dispute, an implementation that accomplishes them in the nearterm would serve the purpose of this thread, imho. Thanks A DeMark 9-Count Setup consists of the following: _A series of nine consecutive bars that close higher or lower than the close 4 bars earlier. Perfected setups _A “sell setup” is “perfected” when the the high of bars 6 and 7 in the count are exceeded by the high of bars 8 or 9, the reverse of which is a “buy setup” "perfected". |

Might it be possible to roll out an implimentation of the parameters below exclusively, if they are not in dispute? Interested traders could get experience with The DeMark 9-Count Setup. Further development would be for others to request. Thanks --- A DeMark 9-Count Setup consists of the following: _A series of nine consecutive bars that close higher or lower than the close 4 bars earlier. --- "Perfected Setup" Parameters Below are Not required on my behalf. Further development is for others to request. _A “sell setup” is “perfected” when the the high of bars 6 and 7 in the count are exceeded by the high of bars 8 or 9, the reverse of which is a “buy setup” "perfected". Hello, I apologize for the delay in getting back to you. I am still working on this study - there is a great deal of background reading between DeMark's two books and Perl's book. Also, I want to make sure that I correctly synthesize DeMark's updates (from the video) into the study. I will notify you in this thread when the study is finished. I thank you for your continued patience.

I have started programming the TD Setup, but I do not intend to have the study released until I am done with the full TD Sequential Study. What I will do is code up TD Setup as an Advanced Custom Study and submit the result here for feedback before I move on to TD Countdown.
