If the parameters listed below are not in dispute, an implementation that accomplishes them in the nearterm would serve the purpose of this thread, imho. Thanks A DeMark 9-Count Setup consists of the following: _A series of nine consecutive bars that close higher or lower than the close 4 bars earlier. _9 consecutive closes “higher” than the close 4 bars prior is a “sell setup” and 9 consecutive closes “lower” than the close 4 bars prior is a “buy setup.” _Numbers 1 through 9 are placed above each qualifying bar's highs, or below each qualifying bar's lows. Perfected setups _A “sell setup” is “perfected” when the the high of bars 6 and 7 in the count are exceeded by the high of bars 8 or 9, the reverse of which is a “buy setup” "perfected". |
