Hi, some of my chart windows randomly revert to the 'Restore' size after I have maximised to full screen. After I maximise then select another chart it reverts back to the 'Restore' size. I double-click the chart tab to maximise and also right click >> maximise command on the chart tab and it still reoccurs.

Also the chart header disappears randomly on some charts (chart information line at the top left of the chart space).

Some of this behaviour seems to be related to the 'Show title bar' command being turned on/off but its only an assumption.

Please advise. This behaviour only started yesterday.

We are not understanding this . How do you select another chart when one chart is maximized? And the prior maximized chart will go back to a restored state when another chart is active assuming you are referring to charts within the main Sierra Chart window. That is completely expected.

If I maximise the Chart Window within the Main Window and I then select another chart from the same workbook, the chart windows revert to 'restore' size (ie it de-maximises) instead of staying in the maximised state. Not sure how else to explain it to you so you understand.

Refer to this later discussion. It captures the same problem I believe.

Upgrade to Pre-Release version 1915 and see if the problem still exists. You can update using the Fast Update following the instructions here:

What you are describing sounds different than what is described in this link:
1913 - Main Chart Maximized not stable

If I maximise the Chart Window within the Main Window and I then select another chart from the same workbook, the chart windows revert to 'restore' size (ie it de-maximises) instead of staying in the maximised state.
This is standard Windows MDI behavior. And is managed at the Windows operating system level.

Whatever you did in 1915 solved this problem as it did for users in the other post, thanks. However, the chart header is randomly hidden on some charts when 'Show Tile Bar' is deselected. I can see this in action when I deselect the 'Show Tile Bar' option on the Chart menu while the chart is maximised. When the chart is tiled the header reappears.

The chart header is not hidden, you just need to adjust the position of the window to make sure the top is fully within view.

And you never really would want to do something like hide the title bar when the window is maximized. If you have a problem with that, it is not surprising.
