Problems with trading service-AMP/TTnet + SCdatafeed

Hi SC,
I have got the data and trading service with AMP/TTnet now.
I use the orderflow by my trading and because TT has got not very accurate bid/ask volume, so I decided to use the sierrachart datafeed instead of TT.
But my broker AMP told me, that I can´t log on to the Sierra Chart with my direct account by Sierra and use SC datafeed and trade via AMP (Thay only use TTNet) but must log on to the Sierra Chart via my account by AMP and so use TTNet data, if I want to trade.
Is it any way to use SC data and AMP trading service together in only one installation of SierraChart?

What your broker has said is not correct. You can absolutely use your direct Sierra Chart account and trade with AMP and use the Sierra Chart data feed all integrated into one single Sierra Chart instance.

You should have no trouble connecting to AMP and also using the Sierra Chart data feed, all with your own directly paid for Sierra Chart account.

The AMP TT Server is not going to be available over the weekend, but you will still be receiving 10 minute delayed historical data from the Sierra Chart data feed.

Dear SC,
thank you a very much for your support.
Today I was told by AMP that there is only one way to use and to log on to the sierra chart, and the way is to use AMP and only via TTNet. No other way is possible.
So I decided to change my broker. Now I choose another one and hope to solve it soon.

We do not fully understand this. What is the particular problem you are having?

One thing that we have heard and is not correct is AMP says in order to connect to their server you must use Sierra Chart provided by them. This is not correct. You can use your own Sierra Chart account.

But when I log on to the Sierra chart via my direct (by Sierra) account, I cant trade. My broker don´t see me at the tradedesk. And told me clearly that by AMP I can use only TTnet.

Have you entered the correct settings on the Orders tab in Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings. Here are the instructions:

Yes I have the settings on Sierra all correct. And my broker has checked it on my PC too.
The problem is, if I use SC wia AMP(TTnet), I can trade and my broker can see mi on the trade desk.
But if I use another datafeed, my broker will not see me at the trade desk so I can´t trade. This told me AMP.
I have solved it with AMP the whole last week.
I don´t know why, but if AMP has a problem if I want to use another datafeed except TTNet, I perhaps must find another one...

You definitely should not have a problem with this.

Make sure you have disabled Trade >> Trade Simulation Mode On.

I don´t know why but I have this problem.
I have logged on to the sierrachart via my direct accout by SierraChart. I hade disabled Trade-Trade simulation mode on and I wanted to trade, but my broker, he told me that I´m not on the tradedesk an must to log on to the SC via AMP account. And that´s all. I can´t undersad this too. But don´t know how can I solve this... I have no idea...

What happens when you submit an order from your direct Sierra Chart account. Is it rejected?

Enter a limit order away from the market so it does not fill. Is there an error message in Trade >> Trade Service Log? If so, we need to see this. We can solve this problem for you. This is not difficult.

If you also look at Trade >> Trade Activity Log, you will see in the Order Action Source field, the Exchange ID of the order. This way you know the order actually was accepted by the exchange.

Please provide us the lines in the Trade Activity Log for the test order we asked you to submit. Here are the instructions:

One problem is: I am log on to the SierraChart via my direct account by sierra, I use the TTNet datafeed and AMP... but I can´t trade - my broker can´t see me at the trade desk.
And the second problem is (for me more important):
when I want to use SC datafeed instead of TTNet. The connection has failed.
And when I told this my broker, He told me I have to log on to the SierraChart only via AMPaccount and use only TTNet datafeed and then I can trade with AMP...

For the record, the reason you could not connect to the Sierra Chart data feed was because Global Settings>> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds was disabled.

We also tried submitting an order when using your own Sierra Chart direct account and it went through to AMPs server without any problem and was accepted.
