I am trying to use an SC instance to access market data from another SC instance. The source instance uses a direct account (SierraChart), the destination instance uses an affiliate (AMP) account. This does not seem to be possible because while trying to access market data I got the following log entries: Generic Client (127.0.0.1:11097) | Connecting to the server 127.0.0.1. This is supported but just make sure that you disable require authentication in the DTC server in the source instance. This is in Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> SC Server Settings. The greatest issue with something like this though is going to be market data rules from exchanges. So make sure you are just using the data internally and on the same desktop.
