Hello, For some reason, my platform is sending many orders into the market and they are being rejected. I am on the CQG data feed. I have three inter commodity spreads on with a trailing stop attached. The rejected orders seem to only effect the YM and ES. I received a call from the broker about this. It seems we are sending in 100's of rejected orders every couple of minutes. How do trailing stops work in Sierra? It seems like the trailing stop is trying to place the modification before the existing order is cancelled. This is not a good situation. Cancel this order and manage the position manually for now. Or enter a replacement stop but do not use a trailing stop. Let us know if you see this again. We have given this some further consideration and we realize, that the solution to this is to reconnect to the data feed: File Menu: Procedure to Reconnect to the Data and Trade Servers And then that should solve the problem related to the client order ID and then you can cancel the order. We did not realize you could not cancel the order. A broker was asking us about this and we think it was in relation to this. This is not something that is a common problem or even rarely a problem. We are also going to add a check for failed order modifications for a trailing stop and then after so many failures, not make any further modifications, as a safety.
