Hello,

A few days ago I sent you a message after experiencing a strange slippage which was, in fact, higher than my stop loss level (I trade with an automated system that places a SL 1 or 2 ticks away from the entry point, and the SC trade report was showing a max open loss of 48 ticks, and this often happens). I investigated it, asking my broker to send me the fill log for the concerned trade, and it appears that the entry time and exit time are different in my broker's log than in the SC trade report. In reality, my trade had been closed just a few milliseconds (no more than a few minutes) after it's entry, while the SC report shows an exit time of more than 2 hours after the entry time. So I just send this message to let you know about this issue, so you could later correct it if you want. In my opinion, it is because my trades are sometimes very fast (in the market for no longer than a few milliseconds), that the software can't follow the order execution and think that the trade is still opened, also it counts it as closed once the market gets back to the TP level. I observed my system and it always places the SL and the TP, so I can't really see any reasons why they wouldn't be placed.

Please find attached 3 screenshots:
1st one is showing the SC trade report with the entry and exit time
2nd one is showing the SC trade report with the max open loss (value of -$600)
3rd one is my broker's fill log were you can see the entry and exit time

There is definitely nothing wrong on the Sierra Chart side. There could not be. Sierra Chart does not have control over the order fill data or the time stamping. It looks as though there is some late report of a fill or incorrect timestamp. From our limited perspective we cannot say what the issue is . None of this is anything we have control over. But one thing for certain, there is no issue for us to resolve here.

Make sure your computer clock is set accurately:

The other possibility that we did not mention is that there could be missing order fills.
