Sierra is a magnificent tool. Thank you for that! The base of my question is: I have Rithmic as a data provider, so I see a very deep DOM. And the pulling/stacking numbers, as per Sierra's default setting, reset themselves only when the spread gets to them. However, sometimes a stacking amount gets pulled after a long time and therefore does not even show as a pulling (for example at 10.00 AM a level get stacked with 700 contracts, but then after 11.00 AM 700 get pulled: the pulling/stacking at this level will show basically no change, ie around zero). The question: Because of the above: It would be useful to have a time setting, where I could limit how long a pulling or stacking number "remembers". Would that be possible, or is it actually already build in somewhere a Setting? Thank you, |

Dear Sierra Developers, Am I making the question clear? It is in my view a really important piece of Information and a vital Setting that would enable this. It could be time-realted, or could be defined in renko bar or range chart bars, but in any case in my view the pulling/stacking information becomes quickly obsolete and should not be "remembered". |

You've labeled this "User Discussion" so I'm not sure Sierra will respond. That said, I know there's a setting for how many levels of pulling / stacking are remembered, this might be why that 700 level was not shown pulled. I too would love some more customization of pull / stack. |

Dear User654912, Do you have a Direct Account with Sierra? I posted my question 2 weeks ago directly to Support (after your kind warning), but it seems they are ignoring it, probably because I have a third-party account with Sierra. If you are a direct Account holder, perhaps you could ask the question directly. I would very much appreciate that. Could you also describe how you can set the "how many levels of pulling / stacking are remembered"? Much obliged, Csaba DOLHAI |

Looks like you posted it again with the User Discussion tag. Take that tag off!

It was meant for you. The other post I sent directly as a Support Board Request. That is the one that has been ignored for two weeks. My message was meant for you. Thanks, Csaba |

BTW, I posted just now a Support Request again and there is a clear difference between my three posts. Connecting the dots: Obviously, for the very reason I asked your help in posting the issue: my request has been re-classified by Sierra without comment as a User Discussion. Their Support Policy (a spiteful and worryingly angry read) talks about this, among other threats. Unfortunately I cannot "take off any tag" and indeed I have originally posted my requests as Support Board Requests, just as I said. So my point solely depends on my questions above to you. Can you help? |
