Hello,
I am having issues with placing orders into the dom when connected to CTS 4 using version 1022. I was told an older version of sierra, 997 is less buggy when connected to CTS 4? When I try to build chartbooks with the older version 997(different symbols) I have multiple problems. Price isn't displaying and the dom price is off. I use DTN IQ for a data feed so my chartbooks are created from the instance of sierra running DTN. So with version 1022 the dom is buggy and with version 997 price isn't showing up and the dom price decimal point is off. I have attached to screen shots of the problems with version 997. Thanks for your time.

Newer versions of Sierra Chart do not have bugs when using CTS T4. The problem is going to be with the T4 server because the type of connection we use is still new and there may be some problems on the server side. We recommend updating from 1022, to the very latest prerelease which is now 1038. The changes in the latest version are that Sierra Chart does not use the server side OCO, although that may change in the next few days when we reenable that, and there is less bandwidth use for market data.

In 997 go to Global Settings >> Symbol Settings. Press Full Reset. Wait for the symbols to be received and then press OK.

Make sure Global Settings >> General Settings >> Use Non-Chart Data from Remote Instances is disabled.

Reopen the chart and Trade DOM. In the case of the Trade DOM, do not use the IQ Feed data, it is not going to work properly because of the decimal point differences.

For the chart that uses IQ Feed data, adjust this multiplier in Chart >> Chart Settings >> Advanced Settings 2:
Historical Price Multiplier: 100

I had already done a full reset but tried it again. None of this information has provided any solutions. Both problems are still there. Please see 1st screen shot. The decimal issue is with the dom, even when its not using remote instance iq feed. There isn't a decimal problem with the chart using iq feed as a remote instance, the issue is price not displaying. If you meant to adjust the Historical price multiplier in the charts using remote instance iq feed(which doesn't have decimal problem) I put a screen shot of that result, the second screen shot.

You are able to solve this, by adjusting the Historical and Real Time Price Multipliers appropriately, through Chart >> Chart Settings >>Advanced Settings 2 . Please refer to the documentation for more information about those settings.

In the version you are running, the default decimal point position is unadjusted with the ES symbol with CTS T4. So there are no numbers after the decimal place, but you can adjust that as you need to.

Thinking about this some more, actually it would be more correct to adjust the Real-time Multiplier to .01 in the IQ Feed charts. This is explained at step 10 here:
http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/MultipleServices.html#Sharing

The reason we did not mention that previously was that we wanted the pricing to match what you see on the Trade DOM. However, the problem is that would also require an adjustment of the Tick Size to be 25. And the Price Display Format will need to be 1.
