I am unable to create charts that contain more than 12 years of data.

My interest is in relatively short term trading (day trading/ swing trading). For that, I use short term charts ranging from 5 ticks per "range bar" up to 40 ticks per "range bar", and daily charts. I don't need more than a few days ( or weeks) of data for that purpose. However, I would like to be able to download data for a few very long term charts. For example, the Dow Jones Industrial Average. I tried to download 100 years of monthly data for the Dow from Sierra Chart, but was unable to get more than 12 years of data. Am I doing something wrong, or is 12 years the maximum that Sierra Chart provides? Thanks for your help. Peter (By the way, this is important to me. If you "Decline Support" on this issue, then I will be declining my Sierra Chart subscription.) |

There is a limit to the data depending on the symbol. Historical daily data for the Dow Jones goes back more than 12 years though. It goes back to 1968-08-09.
