Cannot load WTI Crude Oil Chart

Hi, I am starting the Sierra Chart free trial and have created a chart type. When I duplicate it, I can load an NQ Futures chart and an ES Futures chart no problem. When I try to load WTI Crude Oil however, I get a problem which states: "Symbol is unknown. Click for symbol information. Real-time data for instrument F.US.ET (corresponding to ID = 3) are not allowed." "Historical Download Complete". Can you please help me load this chart and explain why the other charts are working fine but this one isn't? Many Thanks, Shayaan

While you’re waiting for tech support to answer, this is the symbol I use to get a chart for crude oil futures. Is that what you’re using? CL-201807-NYMEX Date Time Of Last Edit: 2018-06-04 18:53:27

When I click File > Find Symbol, I go into Futures > Crude Oil WTI - ICE > July 2018, and this gives me the following symbol: F.US.ETN18. Is this not correct? Thanks, Shayaan

User311951, I was about to reply but noticed that tech support already answered. Different brokers might have different symbols and that is why what works for one person isn’t the same for someone else.

Hi. Im having this problem but for brent oil. When i load the contract under nymex it just goes blank. I can see crude oil just not brent oil. And my package has 13 days remaining so thats not an issue

Follow the instructions here to clear the Message Log: Message Log: Clearing the Message Log Open a chart for the symbol you have an issue with. Tell us that symbol of the chart. Tell us about one symbol only. Disconnect from the data feed with "File >> Disconnect". Connect to the data feed with "File >> Connect to Data Feed".
