I have about 10 chartbooks set to automatically open upon starting Sierra Charts. Yesterday for some reason only 6 opened up. No change in chart settings still original setting. When I attempt to open the existing chartbooks thru file/open chartbook, the chartbooks still are found in the Data file with correct extension, but when I attempt to open them, nothing happens.

What are the file sizes of those Chartbooks that you open where no charts appear when you open them? Is the file size under 1K?

They were 140kb to 190kb. I reconstructed the chartbooks with new names and these work ok. The old ones do not open any longer for whatever reason.
I had some power outages perhaps that messed up the system somehow.

If you could, send us one of the Chartbooks to Support _At_ Sierra Chart.com and we will test it. Or attach it here following these instructions:

If you attach it here, you can make the file Private so only we can access it.

We looked at one of these files. We have seen two cases of this before. The file is nothing but zeros.

We believe this is caused by a bug in the file I/O functions in a Microsoft library or some kind of problem with third-party software running on the system which is interfering with files.

In newer versions we have changed how Chartbooks are read and written. So we highly recommend updating by selecting Help >> Download Current Version. We see you are running a significantly older version.
